On 12 December, INPHOMIR was featured at an event organised by the SPIE University of Trento (UniTrento) Student Chapter, focused on career paths in photonics after the PhD.

The event, titled “Photonics as a Key Enabling Technology”, brought together students and early-career researchers and included talks by invited alumni sharing their professional journeys beyond academia.

During the event, Chiara Vecchi (GEM Elettronica) delivered a presentation introducing the INPHOMIR project, its vision, and its role in advancing integrated photonic technologies for next-generation navigation systems. The presentation highlighted how cutting-edge research in integrated photonics can translate into real-world applications and career opportunities across industry and research.

Participation in initiatives like this reflects INPHOMIR’s commitment to engaging with the academic community, supporting talent development, and raising awareness of European research projects among young researchers.
