On February 18-19, 2025, the INPHOMIR project held its General Assembly at the Technische Universität München in Munich, Germany 15 months after the start of the project. This event was a key milestone for the consortium, with all partners gathering to assess project progress, align efforts for the next phases, and strengthen collaboration between the top universities and industry partners involved.

During the General Assembly, technological advancements related to indium phosphide (InP)-based photonic technologies were presented, which are at the core of the INPHOMIR project. These innovations promise to revolutionize the satellite navigation, remote sensing, and defense sectors, offering compact, high-performance solutions for next-generation systems.

A special highlight of the meeting was the tour of the lab and cleanroom, where partners had the opportunity to explore the facilities dedicated to chip packaging and the characterization of active and passive photonic devices. This visit provided a direct insight into the cutting-edge technologies at the heart of INPHOMIR.

The project continues to make significant strides forward thanks to the synergy between academic research and industrial innovation, and the General Assembly served as an important occasion to set the course for the project’s future phases.
